Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 30, 2026
Ognila, LLC (“Ognila,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Monkeys on Patrol website at monkeysonpatrol.com and related pages and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Monkeys on Patrol is family-friendly content that may appeal to children. We design our data practices to minimize collection, especially from children. The current site is informational: it has no contact forms, no email signup, no accounts, no comments, and no store. If Ognila later adds interactive features such as forms, email subscriptions, or purchases, those features will be intended for adults, parents, and guardians, will be presented in a clearly identified Grown-Ups area, and this Policy will be updated first.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Service and, if and when such features launch, to information Ognila receives through adult contact forms, adult email subscriptions, or purchases. It does not replace the privacy notices of third-party services, such as YouTube, when those companies process information for their own purposes. Links to third-party sites, including our YouTube channel, are governed by those sites’ policies.
2. Information We Collect
Information adults provide
The current site does not ask visitors for any information, so today we collect nothing an adult submits. If an adult-facing feature launches in the future, we will collect only information reasonably necessary for the adult to use that feature, which depending on the feature may include:
- Contact information, such as an adult’s name, email address, and the content of an inquiry or message.
- Email subscription information, such as an adult’s email address, subscription status, signup source, and limited engagement information associated with messages, if enabled.
- Order information, such as the purchaser’s name, email address, telephone number if required, billing and shipping addresses, items purchased, order value, transaction status, and customer-service communications.
- Other information an adult voluntarily provides in a communication with us. Please do not send sensitive personal information or information about a child.
There is currently no store or checkout on the Service. If online purchases are offered in the future, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider, and Ognila will not receive or store the full payment-card number or card security code.
Information collected automatically
When a person visits the Service, our hosting and security providers may automatically receive limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device and browser type, requested pages, date and time, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information for site delivery, fraud prevention, abuse detection, troubleshooting, and security.
We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking technologies anywhere on the Service. Our hosting provider, Lovable, produces built-in aggregate visitor measurement from ordinary server request logs, such as counts of page views, referring sources, and general device or country information. This measurement runs on the server, does not place analytics cookies on your device, does not build a profile of you, and is not used for advertising. We use it only to understand, in aggregate, whether people are finding the site.
Video viewing
The Service does not embed YouTube videos or any other third-party video player. Instead, it links out to the official Monkeys on Patrol channel on YouTube, which opens in a new tab. No YouTube player or script loads on this site, so YouTube receives nothing about you until you choose to follow that link. Once you are on YouTube, Google and YouTube handle your visit under their own privacy policies. Monkeys on Patrol videos intended for children are designated as “Made for Kids” in YouTube’s settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Respond to adult inquiries and provide requested support.
- Send email updates requested by an adult and manage subscriptions and opt-outs.
- Process and fulfill orders, provide order updates, handle returns or customer service, prevent fraud, and maintain required transaction records.
- Understand aggregate, non-identifying use of the Service and diagnose technical problems.
- Comply with law, enforce our agreements, protect rights and safety, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use personal information from the Service for behavioral advertising or to build advertising profiles of children.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Service does not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Limited local storage or cookies may be used only where necessary to keep the site functioning or secure, and our aggregate visitor measurement is server-side and cookieless. If a future feature required a nonessential cookie, we would describe it here and, where required, obtain consent first.
You may use our consent controls, when displayed, or your browser settings to reject or delete nonessential cookies. Blocking necessary technologies may affect site or checkout functions. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, a Global Privacy Control signal should not change those practices; where applicable law requires a response, we will honor the signal as an opt-out request.
5. How We Disclose Information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Service providers. Lovable and related infrastructure providers host and deliver the site and produce the aggregate visitor measurement described above. If features such as a store or an email list launch in the future, the providers used for them will be described here before launch. These providers process information according to our instructions when acting for us and according to their own policies when acting independently.
- Professional advisers. We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and other advisers subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; enforce agreements; detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Ognila, users, or others.
- Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections and applicable law.
- With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when an adult asks us to do so or otherwise consents.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service may contain content of interest to children, but Ognila does not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information through the Service. Children should not submit forms, join an email list, make a purchase, or send us personal information. Those features are for adults, parents, or guardians. We do not offer child accounts, public posting, child profiles, direct messaging, or precise geolocation.
The Service does not use nonessential analytics, behavioral advertising, or tracking. We limit automatic technical collection to what is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Service, plus the cookieless aggregate measurement described above. Because we link to YouTube rather than embedding a player, no video-platform tracking occurs on this site.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally sufficient parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us at monkeysonpatrolhq@gmail.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity and relationship to the child before acting on a request. If Ognila later introduces a feature that intentionally collects personal information from children under 13, we will provide any additional notice, parental consent, access, deletion, security, and data-minimization measures required by COPPA before that feature launches.
7. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs. Retention may vary by category:
- Adult inquiries are retained for the time reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, and address follow-up or legal issues.
- Email-subscription information is retained while the adult remains subscribed. After an unsubscribe request, we may retain limited suppression-list information so we do not send further marketing email.
- Order and transaction records are retained for the periods required by tax, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, and consumer-protection laws.
- Aggregate visitor measurement is retained by our hosting provider only in summary form for the period supported by its configuration, and it is not linked to an individual.
- Security and hosting logs are retained only as reasonably needed for operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and security.
We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in light of its sensitivity and the nature of the Service. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email or a general contact form.
9. International Processing
Ognila is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we and our providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Adults may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. You may also use available cookie controls and browser settings. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To make a privacy request, email monkeysonpatrolhq@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the email address or transaction associated with it. We may verify identity and authority before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and verification of the consumer’s identity. We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising applicable privacy rights. If applicable law provides an appeal right, an adult may appeal by replying to our decision and stating “Privacy Appeal.”
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service links to third-party sites, currently the official Monkeys on Patrol channel on YouTube. Ognila does not control those parties’ independent privacy practices. Review their privacy notices before providing information. A link does not imply that Ognila is responsible for the third party’s content, security, or practices.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, vendors, features, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
